INVITATION TO TENDER FOR 2017 CAPITAL PROJECTS

The National Productivity Centre (NPC) is a Federal Government Parastatal under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. In line with the Centre’s mandate of enhancing individual and organizational productivity, it seeks to engage the services of competent Contractors/Consultants for the execution of its capital projects under the 2017 budget as follows:


LOT 1: ANNIVERSARIES AND CELEBRATIONS: NATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY DAY (NPD)/ NATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY ORDER OF MERIT AWARD (NPOMA)

SCOPE: To Organize Symposium, Exhibition of Made-in- Nigeria goods, Panel Meetings and Visits, Road Shows, Production of Plaques, Award Lectures, Conferment of National Productivity Order of Merit Award(NPOMA), and National Productivity Day(NPD) Celebration.


LOT 2: ESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY INDEX DATA BANK

SCOPE: Purchase of: Desktop Computers, Laptop Computers, Scanners, Photocopiers, Computer Software, Office Tables, Office Chairs, Air conditioners-split plus installation kits, Teaching and Learning Equipment.


LOT 3: DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTIVITY LINKED WAGE SYSTEM

SCOPE: Design and Production of Questionnaires, Administration/Retrieval of Questionnaires, Data analysis and Production of Report.


LOT 4: PURCHASE OF PROJECT VEHICLES

SCOPE: Purchase of Project Vehicles for the execution of Projects.


LOT 5: RESEARCH STUDY ON IMPACT OF INFRASTRUCTURE ON SMEs IN NIGERIA

SCOPE: Design and Production of Questionnaires, Administration/Retrieval of Questionnaires, Data Analysis and Production of Report.


LOT 6: DEPLOYMENT/INSTALLATION OF PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME (P&QIP)

SCOPE: Deployment of Quality Tools/Templates for SMEs in Four Clusters.


REQUIREMENTS:

Interested firms should include the following in their Technical bid:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
  2. Comprehensive Company Profile;
  3. Current Copy of the Company's Three (3) years consecutive Tax Clearance Certificate;
  4. Copy of the Company’s VAT Certificate;
  5. Evidence of execution of similar jobs by the contractor;
  6. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM Act, ITF Act, NSITF, Employees Compensation Act, Registration with BPP, etc;
  7. Evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only into the Treasury Single Account (TSA) of the Centre;
  8. Company’s Audited Report, Evidence of financial capacity and banking support;
  9. An affidavit declaring that the company is not in receivership and/or the subject of any receivership or the subject of any form of winding up proceedings;
  10. A declaration that none of the company’s Directors has been convicted in any country for any criminal offences relating to fraud;
  11. A sworn affidavit confirming that all information presented and documents attached are true and correct. And that no officer of the Centre is a former or present Director, or a shareholder of the company;
  12. Any other additional information/document that would enhance the company’s application;
  13. Original documents mentioned above must be produced for sighting before the completion of procurement exercise;

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

The bid documents (Technical and Financial) should be collected and submitted each in two (2) separate sealed envelopes and jointly in one (1) envelope into the Tender Box located at the Office of the Director of Procurement of National Productivity Centre, Plot 2173, Cape Town Street, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja not later than Six (6) weeks from date of this advert; 21 st August 2017.

The envelopes for Technical Bid would be publicly opened by 12.00 noon on the 21 st August 2017. Please state the Lot Nos., Lot Title, Company Name and Contact Nos., clearly on the back of the envelope.
